Discipleship Every Day

Being on mission with God means listening for and answering His call daily. Mt. Bethel Church is blessed to have Missions partnerships that offer us opportunities to step out in faith to be on mission locally and globally every day through prayers, giving, caring, and serving.

Mobilizing Disciples

We answer God’s call by focusing our efforts in four areas.

Children & Disenfranchised
Children & Disenfranchised

God calls us to care for children who have no family or who struggle academically and socially because they come from disadvantaged families.

Homelessness & Extreme Poverty
Homelessness & Extreme Poverty

God calls us to care for those who are without the basic necessities to survive so we might demonstrate God’s love by being his hands and feet.

Trafficked & Enslaved
Trafficked & Enslaved

God calls us to free those who are being held captive sexually or physically through love, support, and viable options to escape their situation.

Unreached & Persecuted
Unreached & Persecuted

God calls us to share the good news with those who have not heard it and care for those who have been persecuted for being a disciple of Jesus.

Monthly Serving Opportunities

For Individuals, Families, and Groups
BackPack Blessings

BackPack Blessings

Second Thursday of the Month

Every week during the school year, volunteers come together to be the hands and feet of Jesus by packing bags of food for local children facing food insecurity. BackPack Blessings is more than a packing project—it’s a ministry of hope, ensuring that students have nourishing meals to carry them through the weekend and reminding families that they are not alone. This serving opportunity is perfect for small groups, Sunday School classes, and families with children ages 7 and up. As you pack each bag, you become part of a larger mission to share Christ’s love and make a lasting impact in the lives of children in the communities it serves. Packing occurs on our campus in the Missions House, located across from the Welcome Center. Registration for the upcoming school year will open in mid-summer.

The Table on Delk

First Saturday of the Month

On the first Saturday of each month, we have the privilege of serving alongside The Table on Delk, bringing the love, hope, and compassion of Christ to women and children living in motels along Delk Road who are vulnerable to trafficking. Join us as we build relationships, offer encouragement, and remind those we meet that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. While on-site serving is limited to adults, our KidCity children also take part in this ministry by creating handmade crafts and notes that bring joy and encouragement to the families served by The Table. This outreach is a powerful opportunity for adult small groups and Sunday School classes to put their faith into action and be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community, sharing Christ's love in tangible ways and bringing hope to those who need it most.

Seeds Thrift Boutique

Seeds Thrift Boutique

Last Saturday of the Month

Serve with our ministry partner, The HOPE Center, and help create a welcoming, dignified shopping experience for individuals and families in need through the Seeds Thrift Boutique. Every donated item represents an opportunity to share Christ’s love in a practical way and remind someone that they are valued. Whether you're receiving donations, sorting and preparing items for the sales floor, pricing clothing, merchandising displays, or helping pick up furniture from generous donors throughout the community, there are meaningful ways for everyone to serve. No matter your role, your time and effort help provide hope, support, and encouragement to those facing difficult circumstances. Gather your small group, Sunday School class, friends, or family and join us in making a tangible difference
