Recreation

Youth Sports, Group Fitness, and Family Activities

The Mt. Bethel Christian Activity Center is a place for the community. In addition to our youth sports programming, adults are welcome to use our free workout facility complete with exercise equipment, weight room, and walking track. Members and non-members alike are invited to take part youth sports and a variety of fitness classes.

Youth Sports: Mt. Bethel Recreation offers instructional and competitive sports for children and youth ages four to 14. The most important components that we instill are learning fundamentals, team work, and having fun. So that our families can still enjoy time together, we limit practices to once per week and schedule one game per week during each sports season.

FALL OPENING DAY: Saturday, September 10

Fall Missions Project: We are supporting Backpack Blessings this season. Backpack Blessings is a ministry of Mt Bethel Church that is in its 12th year of showing Christ’s love by providing food to the students at Fair Oaks Elementary and the Salvation Army’s After School Program. Students who are food insecure are given a backpack full of food on Friday afternoons to help provide nourishment over the weekends. The ministry is fueled by donations and caring volunteers. Players and their families are encouraged to bring three specific items listed below during the food drive which begins on September 10, Opening Day.

  • Mac n’ Cheese ( single serve cups)
  • Slim Jims .28oz
  • Oatmeal Packets ( individual, instant, all flavors)

There will also be an opportunity on October 6 and 20 for players to sign up to volunteer to pack the backpacks.  This is a chance for our teams to participate in helping children in our own community by giving an hour of their time to pack and load up the bags.
