The International Leadership Institute (ILI) Team is comprised of men and women around the world who are passionately committed to a vision to change history by accelerating the spread of the Gospel through leaders of leaders empowered by the Holy Spirit. ILI began in 1998 with a desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled through Gospel acceleration. ILI’s Eight Core Values of the most effective Christian leaders provide a rock-solid foundation for a person’s life and leadership. Our mission is to train and mobilize leaders of leaders to reach their nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What We Will Be Doing:

We will serve as faculty on a GO Team, which comprises up to six individuals traveling to an ILI History Makers training event in Cairo, Egypt. By joining our international team led by Dr. Yousef Sarkes, we will embark on a transformative journey aimed at equipping leaders and accelerating the spread of the Gospel among Sudanese refugees living in Egypt.

Some team members will be responsible for teaching sessions, while others will serve on the prayer team. As the event approaches, session assignments will be provided by Dr. Yousef. The event will be taught in Arabic with a translator available for the sessions taught by a GO team member. Additionally, coaching for teaching sessions is available through the international office if needed.

During this experience, you will interact with exceptional men and women deeply committed to living out their Christian faith. We view this as a distinctive opportunity to be inspired, challenged, and perhaps even humbled as you witness the continuous outpouring of the Holy Spirit day after day.

Food and Lodging:

🍽️ Food:

The cuisine will be Egyptian food; morning meals include brown beans with eggs and white cheese. Lunches are a big meal and would be beef or chicken with vegetables and rice. Dinner will also be a hot meal including various meats and vegetables.

🏨 Lodging:

Rooms in a local facility will be two persons sharing the same room with two single beds. If there is available room, we may accommodate a room for each one. The accommodations are not rustic and the weather will be nice in Cairo in September

💲Trip Cost: $1500 to cover transportation, lodging, meals, and sightseeing. $1,000 due at registration.
