If you watch online:
“Hi [NAME]! I was thinking about you this week and wanted to invite you to stream my church’s Sunday service. It’s been such an encouraging part of my life, and I thought you might enjoy it too. I normally tune into the [9:30 or 11am] service, but they also stream one at [9:30 or 11am]. Here’s the link: live.mtbethel.org. Let me know if you decide to watch!”
If you attend in-person
“Hi [NAME]! I was thinking about you and wanted to invite you to join me at church this Sunday! The worship service is always an encouraging part of my week, and I thought you might enjoy it too. I normally attend the [9:30am or 11am] service, and I’d be willing to buy you lunch afterwards. What do you think?

- Pray for the invitations you make.
- Make your invitation personal by offering to drive them or meet in the parking lot so you can walk in and sit together. If you attend our online services, host a watch party in your home (or wherever you're watching from!) Invite your neighbors to join you for snacks and worship in your living room.
- Remember to extend the invitation beyond Sunday mornings. Some people may not be ready to attend a church service, but they might be willing to attend a Men’s Breakfast or a Women’s Night of Encouragement or to serve with you through a local missions opportunity.
- When on vacation, invite others around you to join you for streaming the service online.
- Follow up after you invite if possible. "If the person you're inviting seems unsure but hasn't declined, follow up with a friendly message like, 'No pressure at all—I just wanted to share something that's been meaningful to me. Let me know if you decide to watch or come!' This shows your invitation is genuine and respectful."
- Offer to answer any questions they may have.
What If I invite Someone & Find They Have a Church Home?
Praise God! You can follow up with, “That’s great! So happy you have a church home. What church do you attend?” to show them you’re not trying to recruit them to Mt. Bethel Church.
"We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God."
