For over 25 years, the Journey Sunday school class has organized and led our Angel Tree project that provides gifts for boys and girls in the Cobb County Foster Care system as well as for men and women in protective services. Because this year has already brought so much uncertainty, and in an effort to keep us all as safe as possible, we are asking that donations be made to support this annual effort. Members of the Journey class will be responsible for purchasing and delivering the gifts to our county partners.
Contributions can be made through our online giving page or through the MB app. When giving, please select “Angel Tree” fund, and your donation will be directed to this effort. We’ve set a goal of 1,000 gifts, at an average cost of $28 each, for a total goal of $28,000. Please consider supporting this project. By doing so, you will be helping us bring joy, love, and a sense of the true meaning of Christmas to the children and adults impacted by these services.
Please make your donation by December 1 to allow time for purchasing and delivering these gifts.
