✝️ Kidz2Leaders exists to break the cycle of incarceration by providing stability, opportunity, and a Christian community for children of inmates. What We Will Be Doing:
As volunteers from Mt. Bethel Church, you will have the opportunity to serve kids impacted by parental incarceration through a week-long overnight camp. At Camp Hope, we aim to create a fun and safe environment for kids to experience the love of Christ and build meaningful relationships. Volunteers play a vital role in providing a one-to-one ratio of counselors to campers, ensuring each child feels seen and valued.
You’ll arrive a day early for training and to prepare a warm welcome for the campers. Once camp begins, each counselor and their Cabin Family will participate in fun activities such as paddle boating, rock climbing, archery, biking and more. We’ll start each day with breakfast and a morning gathering, and after lunch, we’ll share devotional time, rest, and continue with more camp activities. Evenings will conclude with dinner and an evening gathering focused on worship and gospel-centered messages of hope.
This local, short-term mission trip is just the beginning! Camp Hope opens the door to opportunities throughout the year to stay connected with the kids and families Kidz2Leaders serves in Metro Atlanta. Join us as we live out Christ’s love by providing stability, opportunity and Christian community for children of inmates with a mission to break the cycle of incarceration.
