Adult & Family Mission Trip
June 14-21, 2024

“To evangelize and disciple children so that they may grow up to be living lights and good examples in the ways of God to their countrymen.”

For over three decades, Orphanage Emmanuel has been a beacon of hope, caring for over 300 children in Honduras. It’s a place of refuge for those who were unwanted, abandoned, or abused. Through the unwavering love of dedicated staff, volunteers, and God’s compassion, these children have found a loving home. Emmanuel provides education, healthcare, nutrition, clothing, and safe housing.

Our Mission:

Mt. Bethel Church is answering the call to stand alongside the Emmanuel staff, extending our hands and hearts to these children. Located on vast acres of land, there’s ample space for our team to share their unique gifts and make a meaningful impact during our visit.

Team Leader:
Steve Worch, sworch@att.net

Age Requirements:
All are welcome! We have had past participants from ages 9 to 90. For those under 21 traveling without both parents, a permission to travel form is necessary.

What Will We Be Doing?
Our activities will be tailored to our team’s strengths and the needs of Orphanage Emmanuel. This includes spending time with the children, leading devotions, preaching during church services, and most importantly, sharing the love of Jesus Christ with these incredible kids and the staff. Each trip brings a unique team and a divine plan.

Trip Cost:
$500 + Airfare – The $500 cost includes lodging, local transportation, all meals, project expenses, incidentals, and international medical insurance. Payments are due by May 1, 2024, payable online or via check to Mt. Bethel Church.

Food & Lodging:

LODGING: Emmanuel offers bunkhouse-style housing with Jack and Jill-style full bathrooms equipped with hot water. Linens and towels are provided, and a designated team house will be our shared space. Keeping our area tidy is our responsibility.

FOOD: A dedicated staff member and team will prepare all meals, starting with dinner upon arrival and concluding with breakfast on departure day. Clean drinking water is readily available from deep water wells. Our team will have an exclusive eating area with buffet-style meals served indoors and outdoors. We’ll divide into groups to clean up after each meal.

Come be a part of this transformative experience, bringing joy and hope to the lives of these amazing children at Orphanage Emmanuel.
