Faith Milestone: My First Bible

January 26 9:30 am  |  Sanctuary

When children are three years old, a beginner’s Bible is presented to them and their parents, so they’ll learn about God’s love by hearing Bible stories read to them repeatedly. Four-year-olds who did not receive a Bible last year may register to receive one this year.

On Sunday, January 26, during the 9:30am Worship Service in the Sanctuary, all three-year-olds (and any four year olds who missed it last year) will be presented with a children’s Bible. Please check your child into Station34 by 9:15am.

Parents will go to the service and staff will walk all children down together. The Bible presentation will be at the prayer time of the service where parents will be invited forward to stand behind their child at the altar for a prayer. Your child will be escorted back to Station34 after the presentation and may be picked up as usual. In addition to the Bible, each child will receive a bookmark where they can mark off certain stories as they read them. Once completed, they’ll receive a special prize in Station34!

Please RSVP so we will have enough Bibles.
