Alpha for 8th Grade
February 6 - April 24 2022
WHAT IS ALPHA?
Alpha is a place to explore the Christian faith with others. It’s a low-pressure environment to discuss big questions of life. Each Alpha session has three main parts: food, talk, and discussion. Check out this video to learn more.
WHY ALPHA?
We want to create an environment where students can comfortably talk about faith, bring up questions, create bonds, and invite non-Christian friends to discuss faith.
WHO SHOULD BE IN ALPHA?
Alpha is open to everyone. We want this to be a place where people can explore faith without fear of judgment. The only requirement is that you show up with a willingness to listen to others’ points of view, even if it’s different from yours. We are offering this group specifically to 8th graders. Friends are welcome to join!
WHEN AND WHERE DOES ALPHA MEET?
We’ll meet Sundays from 5-6:30pm in The Garage. The retreat on March 25-26 will be at the church. We’ll start at 7pm on Friday and end at 9am on Saturday. (More details will come after everyone is registered.)
