PRAY FERVENTLY IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND AVAIL MUCH
James 5:16 “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Praying is our way of communicating with God. Praying is something we’re encouraged to do as individuals and as a community, and the annual National Day of Prayer is an opportunity for us to show an outpouring of “fervent prayer” to God for our Nation.
On May 4, we can gather as a community in one place to pray for our Nation.
The historic chapel at Mt. Bethel Church will be open to all from 8am-4pm – come at any time throughout the day, and invite your friends and neighbors to pray over the people of our Nation. Prayer prompts will be provided if you so desire.
If you cannot come to the chapel, pray where you are! We’ll have digital prayer prompts available online.
Let’s gather as a community and fervently pray to God for our Nation to return to the One who loves us so much that He sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to take on the sins of the world.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalm 33:12
