Wednesday Night Fire (Bible Study)
September 18 6:30 - 7:30 pm | Sanctuary, Live.MtBethel.Org, and Facebook
Join Pastor Jody Ray and Tom Tanner (Riverstone Church, Kennesaw, GA) in this 5-week Bible study on Wednesdays beginning on August 14-September 18* from 6:30-7:30 in the sanctuary or online.
“Most people are fascinated with talk of the deeper life because the average Christian life is so tragically shallow.” – A.W. Tozer
Dive into a transformative journey with our Bible study, “From Shallow to Deep: Cultivating Personal Revival in Everyday Life.” Using the life of Jacob, we explore how God draws us into deeper relationship and personal revival through:
🔥 Encounter: Discover how divine encounters initiate profound change.
🔥 Process & Endurance: Learn how God molds us through trials and perseverance.
🔥 Declaration: Understand the power of God’s spoken promises over our lives.
🔥 Forgiveness: Experience the healing and transformative power of forgiveness.
Join us to move beyond a shallow faith and embrace the fullness of a deeper life in Christ. Together, let’s cultivate a vibrant and enduring personal revival.
Dinner will be available each Wednesday night from 4:30-6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Tickets for dinner will be on sale at the door.
Joining Jody is Rev. Dr. Tom Tanner, Lead Pastor of Riverstone Church in Kennesaw. Tom’s responsibilities include preaching and teaching on Sundays, casting vision for the congregation, leading the staff, chairing the Board of Directors and the general oversight of all ministries of the church. Tom also serves as President of The Transformation Network, which is an organization dedicated to church planting. In 2020, Tom graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in Church Planting.
*This class will NOT meet on Wednesday, September 11, due to another event in the sanctuary.
