SafeHouse Outreach City Walk and Fellowship
June 24 3:00 - 7:30 pm | Atlanta, GA
One of the ways in which we engage with SafeHouse Outreach (SHO) is through our monthly time of Fellowship with the guests there. It’s a great opportunity to learn from those experiencing homelessness or extreme poverty as we step out of our local comfort zone. In these monthly visits, we will experience a City Walk around Atlanta guided by SHO’s Director of Outreach.
Our friends at SafeHouse Outreach often express how they feel invisible; how people avoid them physically to the point of even avoiding eye contact, and how hard it can be to feel like a part of society when society doesn’t acknowledge you. This time of fellowship is a small way we can bring dignity and the love of Christ to those in need in the heart of Atlanta.
