May 15 11:30 am - 1:30 pm  |  B116

🗓️ Date: May 15
⏰ Time: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
📍 Location: B116

Our next Lunch and Learn features Chris and Daryl Lyboldt who will speak to essential concepts within each of the gaps families frequently face:

  • The Knowledge Gap – Where to start when exploring senior care options.
  • The Financial Gap – Misconceptions about how to pay for long-term care.
  • The Emotional Gap – The strain on family relationships when caregiving becomes overwhelming.
  • The Planning Gap – Waiting too long to plan leads to crisis-driven decisions.
  • The Social Gap – Isolation and its impact on seniors’ cognitive and emotional health.

The Lyboldts are dedicated to helping families navigate the complexities of senior care. Their journey began with a deeply personal experience—finding the proper care for Daryl’s father, Bob. Immersed in the senior living community, they developed firsthand insight into families’ challenges. After Bob’s passing in 2017, they felt called to assist others in making informed, compassionate decisions for their loved ones.

Daryl, a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and interior designer launched Burton Home Group to help seniors transition by managing home sales, estate sales, and move coordination. Recognizing the broader need for expert guidance, she and Chris established Senior Care Authority Atlanta, offering placement assistance, eldercare consulting, family coaching, and advocacy.

Chris, blending his experience in teaching, corporate strategy, and senior care advising, is known for his empathetic approach and ability to simplify complex decisions. Together, they provide a comprehensive, personalized service for Atlanta families.

Beyond their work, they are active in their church and are animal lovers. They live in Atlanta with their son, Aidan, their schnoodle, and two cats.
