Dr. Jody Ray
Jody is an Elder in the North Georgia Conference and comes to us after being the Senior Pastor at Stockbridge FUMC for five years.
Jody is a second-career pastor, having worked in the financial services sector before entering the ministry in 2000. He is also the President of Project 82 Kenya, an organization that ministers to orphans in the most desperate places in Kenya.
He received a degree in finance and accounting from North Georgia College and State University, a Masters of Divinity from Gammon Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree at George Fox Seminary.
Jody has been married to his wife Shelley for sixteen years. They have two incredible daughters, Jennings and Carson. They also have the most adventurous son in the world, Robert.
In his free time, Jody enjoys reading, writing, fly fishing, hunting, and playing golf. On Saturdays in the fall, he can be found cheering for the Ole Miss Rebels.
