Come SOAR With Us
Our seniors are active, vibrant, and participate in a variety of activities. SOAR is scripturally based on Isaiah 40:31 - "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
We acknowledge that God has blessed us, and from the mountain top we can soar like eagles and appreciate God's continued presence in this place in our life journey. He has strengthened us throughout our lives, and through the power and presence of Christ, we endeavor to live a life that glorifies God. In doing so, we experience great joy!
Mt. Bethel provides divorce support, grief support, other specialized support groups, and counseling to assist our seniors in all stages and life events.
As members of the Body of Christ extended to the world, we support various missions and organizations through out the year.
God created us for relationships and community. SOAR seeks to strengthen and grow our relationship with God, our community, and the world.
Join us every month for dinner and fellowship. Most months, we meet in the Fellowship Hall, and have a potluck style meal. We have special entertainment, and we bring items to support a specific ministry.
Bridge Club meets each Wednesday at the Mt. Bethel Community Center from 1-4:30pm. For information contact Sue Trapnell (770.971.9664) or Martha Gregory (404.226.7431).
