HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Mt. Bethel will recognize our graduating high school scholarship recipients on Baccalaureate Sunday, May 19, during the luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. The application forms are posted below. The deadline to apply for the high school scholarships is noon on Friday, May 3, 2019.

About the Music Ministry Scholarship:

The Music Ministry Scholarship is a $2000 scholarship to be awarded to a member of our church graduating from high school who has been involved in and committed to the Music Ministry at Mt. Bethel. Although music and music education majors are encouraged to apply for this scholarship, it is not required that the applicant be pursuing a college course of study specific to music. The focus of this scholarship is on service and the applicant’s use of their time and talents to the glory of God through music.

About the Children’s Consignment Sale Scholarship:

The scholarship awarded by the Children’s Consignment Sale Committee is $1,500 for a member of our church graduating from high school. This senior must exemplify outstanding Christian character, as well as excellence in the classroom with a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 and service in the community.

COLLEGE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship recipient will be announced in July. The application deadline for the college scholarship is Monday, June 3, 2019.

Dr. Randy Mickler College Scholarship Application

About the Dr. Randy Mickler Scholarship

The Dr. Randy Mickler College Scholarship is in the amount of $5,000. This scholarship will honor and reward one full-time student who has exhibited academic excellence and demonstrates courage and commitment to the cause of Christ in his or her daily life. The applicant must be a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church and a student who is currently enrolled full-time in college, in either undergraduate or graduate studies, and who will continue to be a full-time student during the 2019/2020 academic year.
