Habitat Road Race 2011 (4)People who participated in the Habitat Road Race earlier this month helped raise over $90,000 for two Habitat Houses. There was a record 870 registered runners and ‘phantom runners’. Additionally, there were 50 volunteers and 20 vendors present on race day including Indian Hills Country Club, Panera Bread, Krispy Kreme, Starbucks, Big Peach Running Company, Eat.Think.Smile, Women’s Premier Fitness, and many more. Mt. Bethel appreciates their participation as well as our biggest sponsors, Balfour Beatty and WellStar!

The Habitat for Humanity houses are Mt. Bethel’s 30th and 31st builds. The houses are almost complete, and the keys will be handed to the homeowners during a ceremony on October 29. To donate, go to HabitatRoadRace.com.
