Family Discipleship

We define “family” as any group of people gathered together with Christ at the center. In Matthew 12:46-50 we read,

While Jesus was still talking to the crowds, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to talk to you.” He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

In this passage, Jesus was not neglecting his mother and brothers, but he was defining the spiritual family: those who do the will of the Father. The spiritual family consists of all people who have Christ at the center of their lives.

Children

KidCity is a high-energy whole group worship and small group experience offered for preschoolers (KidCity Jr.) and children in Kindergarten through fifth Grade (KidCity). Our scripture-based lessons center on a monthly theme, and our goal is to encourage children to build a lasting relationship with God, with their small group leaders, and with each other.

At the North Campus, we also have a professionally-staffed nursery for our children under the age of two filled with age-appropriate toys and activities.

Confirmation

Mt. Bethel North now offers confirmation class on our campus. Classes meet Sunday mornings at 9am from late August through early December. Find out more here »

Students

For Students in grades six through twelve, we believe the best experience will be for young men and women to participate in Sunday evening Life Groups and in weekday programs at the Mt. Bethel main campus. Mt. Bethel Student Ministry information »
