MB EAST COBB

Principles and examples of modern-day mentor/mentee relationships are found throughout scripture. Sometimes biblical mentoring looks like Paul - developing and encouraging;, Timothy in his leadership abilities, or Elizabeth becoming an encourager and confidant to Mary. God uses all of these types of relationships to reveal Himself to us. In this series, we will explore how connecting generations can have eternal RIPPLE EFFECTS.

MB NORTH

The most important thing we can do for the next generation is to give them knowledge and conviction of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must all take action to develop our own spiritual lives so that we can serve as true witnesses and influence those who follow in our footsteps. Listen to Pastor John Freeland unpack more in the first installment of "Ripple Effect".

WEDNESDAY NIGHT FIRE

As men who left secular careers and lifestyles to pursue their life calls, Rev. Jody Ray and Rev. Jonathan Lawson have deep empathy for the disciples' reaction to Jesus’ news in Chapter 16 of the gospel of John. As Jesus explains He will be leaving them soon, there is no doubt the disciples are feeling uneasy about losing Him. In life, it's easy to focus on what we may lose instead of what’s ahead in a life lived for the glory of God. Hear more about Rev. Jody and Jonathan's reflections in this week’s WNF episode.

BACKPACK BLESSINGS

The Backpack Blessings program provides chronically hungry children with food to take home over the weekend. Backpacks are stocked with nutritious, child friendly, and easy-to-prepare food.

Millions of low-income children in the United States rely on food support from the National School Lunch Program. But when school is not in session, children living in food-insecure households are at risk of going without the nutritious food they need. Even mild under nutrition can affect behavior and school performance. The bottom line is hungry children have difficulty learning.
