Relationship with Mt. Bethel

Since its inception by Mt. Bethel members in 2004, Mt. Bethel has supported Opportunity Knocks for Youth (OK4Youth) financially and with volunteers. The mission of OK4Youth is to support and encourage the personal growth and development of youth so that they become productive citizens. OK4Youth, Inc. provides mentoring and life skills programming to foster children and other disadvantaged youth and seeks to empower these young people to complete their education and become self-sufficient citizens.

Kingdom Impact

Through faith-based mentoring, educational assistance, faith and growth-oriented field trips, and work and life skills workshops in the Atlanta area, OK4Youth empowers teens in foster care to complete their education and become self-sufficient. Approximately 75% of the teens in the OK4Youth program graduate from high school while only about 20% of those in normal foster care outside the program do.
