Who We Are…

Aloha To Aging, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 community outreach created to address the social needs of seniors 55+ with mild to moderate impairments, assist their family members with their changing role as a family caregivers, and create volunteer opportunities for the community.

Our Mission: To empower family care givers, aging care receivers, and volunteers in a positive, nurturing manner through quality programming.

Aloha Day Club: We keep the aloha spirit alive in our social day program for those 55+ who have stopped driving and need social stimulation outside of their home. Our weekday program incorporates exercises, music, and stimulating games and discussions into each session. Our fun-filled 3.5 hour program includes all programming, a morning snack, and lunch. The Aloha Day Club serves the Cobb, Fulton, and DeKalb County communities and is currently available in East Cobb on Mondays & Thursdays from 10:30am-2pm. Family Support Groups:

Care Giver Support Meeting: Open to family members who are assisting an aging loved one, both inside and outside of the home. We meet the first Monday of each month at 10:30am. Care is provided for your loved one while we meet. Please call in advance of the meeting if needing care for your loved one to ensure he/she meets criteria.

Parkinson’s Disease Support Group: Have you or a loved one been recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s? You are not alone. You and your caregiver are welcome as we learn how to cope and live with the diagnosis. Helpful tips and resources provide comfort and encouragement. We meet the first Tuesday of the month at 10:30am. Call 678.439.1177.

Bereavement Support Group: Specifically for those that have lost an aging loved one. If you are dealing with the grief of losing an aging loved one, please contact us by email or call 678.439.1177. We meet the second Monday of the month at 2:30pm.

Ways to Serve…

We provide volunteer opportunities on a regular or “one time only” basis to individuals in the community, special interest groups, and local businesses. Just choose the area to serve that best fits your skill or talent, then give us a call to schedule a time to volunteer.

For those who enjoy cooking, we provide you a guideline and you do the rest at home. All you have to do is drop it off, and then weekday kitchen volunteers will take care of the rest!
