Additional Information/Resources:
Mothers’ Room
For nursing mothers, a room is available in the nursery wing with rockers, a changing table, and a closed circuit television so moms can see the worship service.
How Check-In Works
The safety of your children while in our care is of great importance to us. For this reason, we have put in place check-in and pick-up procedures to ensure the security and safety of your children. Read more »
Wellness Policy
In order to protect the health of the children in our care, we ask that children be kept at home with any of the following conditions: vomiting, fever, diarrhea, deep bronchial cough, or any other contagious illnesses. Any child should be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to the Children’s Ministry.
Special NeedsÂ
Mt. Bethel UMC is a community leader in ministry and outreach to families of children, teens, and adults who have physical, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities. To find out more, click here or contact Kim McGarr.
Baptism
We baptize children almost every Sunday in our services. For infant/child baptisms, contact Debi Wyatt for more information or to schedule a date. Please note that at least one parent of the child must be a member of Mt. Bethel.
Volunteer
Every volunteer in the Children’s Ministry has completed a background check and attended Safe Sanctuaries Training. If you are interested in volunteering in the Children’s Ministry, please fill out the volunteer application and background check. After these steps are completed, someone will contact you to provide Safe Sanctuaries Training and the details of how you may be involved in Children’s ministry.
