MB Kids Missions

img_5491We believe that Jesus calls every single one of us to “go” to share His love, and that includes our children.  Children don’t have to wait until they become adults to serve. They can make a huge difference in people’s lives now within the community and even globally. Children can become the hands and feet of Christ.

Vacation Bible School Missions Focus 2018

Mt. Bethel’s 2018 Shipwrecked VBS will support our local and global Missions Partners. This year, the kids will engage in service projects during VBS as well as bringing in donations to support our Missions Partners. We will collect the following items for each Missions Partner:

Tuesday – stickers for children for Project 82 Kenya

Wednesday – hygiene items for MUST Ministries

Shampoo
Deodorant
Bar Soap
Toothpaste
Toothbrush

Thursday – $5 to send a child in India to VBS with Hope for Today

Thursday and next two Sundays in KidCity – Donate your VBS t-shirt to Project 82 Kenya where our missions team will lead the same VBS later in June.

Project 82 Kenya cares for orphans and vulnerable children. Kids’ donations of stickers and their VBS shirts will go to Molo, Kenya, with our June 19 mission trip participants. Shirts can be donated the last day of VBS or the following two Sundays in KidCity.

MUST Ministries is a volunteer driven organization in Cobb and Cherokee Counties meeting the basic needs of individuals, families and children. Kids at VBS will make 1,000 lunches which MUST will distribute on Thursday of VBS to children participating in the MUST Summer Lunch program. Donations of hygiene items will go to support MUST’s shelter and outreach clients.

Hope for Today in South Asia shares Christ’s love through Compassion Ministries, Church Planting, and Leadership Training. A donation of $5 will send a child in India to VBS.
