Experiencing a Miracle

My team and I were doing home visits in Tambaya, Kenya, bringing them food and praying for them along the way. We went to our second house and came across a family with a deaf boy named Peter. I tried talking to him and asking his name, but he could not hear me, and I did not know he was deaf until a lady pointed to her ears telling me he was deaf. God started telling me to pray for him. I was very nervous and thinking “what if it did not happen?” I decided to push out unbelief and pray for healing. I asked the interpreter if I could put my hands on his ears, and he said yes.

I began to pray for him to hear. I kept saying,  “by His name we are healed. Let him hear again!”

I stepped back and looked back and forth at Peter and the interpreter and the interpreter’s eyes got really big and then told us he could hear! I burst into tears and laughter! I was overwhelmed with joy and amazement at what God had done. I was so thankful that the Lord allowed us to be a part of healing. We serve an amazing God!
