Exciting Updates Are Coming to Our Middle School Ministry!

An awesome transformation is coming to Mt. Bethel’s middle school program. The new and simple weekly rhythm of programming will encourage spiritual growth in the family, while powerful worship, relevant messages, and Life Groups will build community and strengthen relationships with our students each week. Here are some of the cool things you have to look forward to.

Sunday Morning
The current monthly worship service for middle schoolers is moving to Sunday mornings! There will be games and activities, worship, messages, and Life Groups happening every Sunday. Students can join us for this 75-minute experience at 9:30 or 11am. Each week, they’ll have an opportunity to hear a relevant gospel-based message that’s tailored just for middle schoolers. Students, Life Group leaders, and staff will have more face-to-face time to build valuable relationships as they begin—or continue—their spiritual journeys. Parents will be provided with great resources and materials that will make follow-up conversations about the lessons easy and inspiring. Watch for Life Group sign-up this summer!

Confirmation
A new Confirmation experience for students in 7th-12th grade and their families is something to look forward to this fall. Confirmation will be a six-session course with a retreat. The sessions will take place on Sunday mornings at 11am and will be offered twice a year, in the fall and spring. The most valuable relationship a student will ever have in their walk with Jesus Christ is with their parents. That’s why the new Confirmation experience asks parents of students in grades 7, 8, and 9 to attend Confirmation class and the Confirmation retreat with their students. When parents are present with their young students, they experience transformation together. What a blessing! Look for more information about Confirmation this summer. The first class begins August 19!

Transformation is our highest priority. Partnering with parents enables us to provide support and resources that will guide students through their spiritual journeys, in church and at home! We hope that you are as excited as we are about what’s to come!

Students who are not already involved in a life group should email us for more information on how to join one! To sign up for MBSM’s (Mt. Bethel Student Ministries) weekly eBlast to stay up to date with all the happenings at Student Ministries, please click here.
