In addition to our online options for Sunday worship services, we are excited to offer outdoor, on-campus worship services each month. The services will be held every Sunday during the month of November. We’ll have live music, and one of our pastors will deliver the message. Please see the FAQs below for what to expect, and be sure to download the MB app for music lyrics!
We look forward to seeing you!
Do I need to register beforehand in order to attend?
No. If you are planning to come to one of our outdoor services, we encourage
you to check-in on the MB app once you arrive. There is no registration or cost
required to attend.
When can I arrive to the service?
You can arrive up to 20 minutes before the service starts.
After I arrive, where should I sit?
There will not be assigned seating. Out of respect and safety of others, we ask
that people maintain social distancing guidelines and seat their families at least
six feet away from other groups.
Is this handicapped and/or stroller-friendly?
Yes. Handicapped parking spaces are available in front of the fields and other
overflow areas. Entrance to the fields is available by a paved road. Upon arrival,
please let our teams know if you have any additional needs.
Do I need to bring my own seating and shade?
Yes. Everyone attending will need to bring his or her own seating to sit on the
parking lot. Hats for shade are recommended. Please do not bring shade tents.
They may block other people’s view and set up/take down time is limited.
What will the outdoor service include?
The outdoor service will follow our general worship format. Lyrics for the
morning’s worship songs will be available on the Mt. Bethel website and Mt.
Bethel app on Sunday morning.
Will there be communion?
No, we will not be doing communion during outdoor services.
Can we go inside the church building?
The inside of the church building is currently only accessible for emergency
bathroom use only. Entrance to the building will be monitored to account for
numbers of people inside and periodic cleaning of the restrooms. Please wear
facemasks while using the restrooms.
Do I have to wear a facemask?
Facemasks are encouraged for the entirety of your time on our campus but are
not required once you’ve been seated outdoors. If you need to go inside the
church building to use the restrooms, a mask or face covering will be required.
We will have disposable facemasks available if one is needed.
How should I dress for the service?
Dress comfortably! This service will be casual, so feel free to wear shorts.
Will there be any kind of children’s ministry at the outdoor service?
No, there will not be separate programming for kids or students at the outdoor
service. Although there is not a separate children’s service, this service is meant
for families and all ages.
Will there still be an online broadcast?
Yes! Our services will still be broadcast as usual at 8:15am, 9:30am, 11am, and
6pm for those who choose to continue house-church worship.
How will I receive inclement weather updates?
Decisions regarding weather cancellations will be made by 7:30am on Sunday
mornings. In the event of an inclement weather cancellation, we will post updates
to the website and our social media platforms. To receive inclement weather
notifications directly to your smart device, subscribe to the general push
notifications on the MB app.
