Monthly Outreach at The Table on Delk
April 6 | The Table on Delk
What to Expect for Our April 6 Service Opportunity:
ππIt’s Family Fun Day at The Table on Delk and we’re putting together a team of volunteers to help them host it! We are looking for 15 volunteersβof all agesβ who can grill, participate in fun games with kids, and share the love of Jesus Christ with the friends at The Table on Delk! We will arrive at the ministry at 10:30 for an orientation and get everything set-up. Friends will start arriving around 11:30 for lunch and fun! After the event is over, we will stay for a time of reflection with Tina and Scott and be packed up by 3:30.
This event on April 6 is part of our On Mission 365 Initiative (learn more here). Reach out to Brooke Pierce if you have any further questions!
π Can’t make it for our April opportunity? We serve with The Table on Delk on the first Saturday of each month! Here’s what you can expect:
Join us for a heartwarming experience at The Table on Delk. We’re dedicated to reaching out to women and children living in motels along Delk Road, who are at-risk to being trafficked, and we need your help!
Here’s what to expect on our outreach days:
- π Prayer and Orientation:
At 10:30am, we’ll start with a time of orientation, training, and prayer. It’s a chance to connect, learn, and center ourselves before heading out. - β¨ Hospitality Team:
If you have a heart for hospitality, join our Hospitality Team. Your role is to welcome, serve, and spend time with our friends when they arrive around 11:30 am. Your warmth and care mean the world to them. - π Prayer Outreach Team:
For those who believe in the power of prayer, our Prayer Outreach Team is the perfect fit. This team heads out to offer a small gift, share heartfelt prayers, and extend an invitation for lunch to the women and children living in the area. We’re there to bless their day. - π Praying Over Our Community:
This outreach isn’t just about connecting with individuals; it’s about praying for the motels and the people who call them home. Your prayers make a difference. - π Wrap Up:
Our guests typically leave around 2:30pm, and we finish up between 3-3:30pm. It’s a day filled with compassion and connection, leaving a lasting impact on both the recipients and volunteers.
Please note that this event is for adults only.
Join us as we extend a hand of friendship, share the power of prayer, and make a positive change in the lives of our neighbors at The Table on Delk. Your presence can brighten someone’s day and be a source of hope in our community. See you there! π«
