    Kim Bearden is the co-founder, executive director, and language arts teacher at the highly acclaimed Ron Clark Academy, an innovative middle school and educator-training facility in Atlanta. In 2016, Kim was honored at the White House for being inducted into to the National Teachers Hall of Fame. She is the recipient of the Disney American Teacher Award for Humanities and the Milken Family Foundation Award for Excellence in Education. Women Works Media Group named her one of Georgia’s Most Powerful and Influential Women.

HOT TOPICS: Overcoming Feeling Overwhelmed

Kim Bearden is the co-founder, executive director, and language arts teacher at the highly-acclaimed Ron Clark Academy. Not only is Kim an award-winning educator of 33 years, she is also a wife and mother of four children. Her presentation will focus on ways to overcome feeling overwhelmed, overworked, and underappreciated. Through the use of her own personal journey and how she overcame tragedy, betrayal, heartbreak, and pain, Kim will help women realize their influence and strength; she will leave them feeling empowered with biblical principles that will help them embrace who they are and their worth in Christ.
