Angel Tree

November 1, 2023 9:00 am

This year marks over 28 years of Mt. Bethel’s participation in providing Christmas gifts for boys and girls in the Cobb County Foster Care system through our Angel Tree Project. Sponsored by our FaithMates Sunday School class, we are blessed to be a part of this very special initiative that allows us to show the love of Christ through a stranger’s gifts to these children.

To make this possible, we will be offering two options for purchasing gifts:

  1. Choose an “angel” from the tree located across from the Information Desk above the Connector (the hallway leading from the Sanctuary on the East Cobb campus). The angel will have the name of the child and the gift(s) desired, along with tips for where the item(s) can be purchased. Volunteers will be on hand to keep track of which angels are selected and who will be purchasing the gift(s).
  2. Choose gift(s) from one or more of the Wish Lists created on Amazon (links below), place your order, and your gift(s) will be delivered to the Welcome Center at church. Names will not appear on the gift, but we will keep a record of those who participate in the project. IMPORTANT: If you choose to order through one of the Wish Lists, please ONLY order from Amazon so we can track orders.

All gifts need to be delivered to the Welcome Center no later than November 26 so please be mindful of potential shipping delays. Whichever option you choose, please keep in mind that a shortage in supply is expected, so gifts will need to be purchased as quickly as possible. For some children, this may be the only gift they receive all year.
