MBSA’s Performing Arts Camp is an exciting theater camp designed to teach children about the performing arts and give them a chance to perform in front of an audience. This fun summer camp includes music, dancing, acting, games, arts and crafts, and lots of memory making!
This year we will be performing the Broadway Kids Musical, “Willy Wonka.” We will be holding auditions April 25 and 27 from 3-4:30pm both days for lead roles; your child does not have to audition for a lead role to participate, however.
Camp dates are June 19-23 at Mt. Bethel for rising first through sixth grade students. We will begin every day at 9am and end at 1:30pm with lunch served as a part of the camp day. Students will enjoy four rotations throughout the day including acting, dance, vocal performance, and games. We will end each day with a rehearsal of our musical. We will perform “Willy Wonka” on Friday June 23, at 6:30pm.
After Camp Care
Families requiring additional care due to work schedules can take advantage of our post-camp hours. Parents can pick up their children as late as 5:30pm at a cost of $50 per week. (Parents arriving after 5:40 will be charged $1 per minute.)
We will engage campers with games, movies, arts and crafts, and other activities. Parents should provide snacks and drinks for this extra time.
