Parent/Child Life Groups Now Forming
Wed, August 22 | 6:30 pm-7:30 pm | MB Kids Offices (Suite C118)
Do you want to “do life” with your child and intentionally grow in understanding of God’s word while in fellowship with other parents and church friends?
Our life groups are designed to meet our upper elementary (tween) kids where they are and help them transition into middle school, where life groups are an integral part of their spiritual life at Mt. Bethel. Life groups typically meet on Sunday or Wednesday night, depending on the group’s preference, and each group consists of 8-12 families. Each family will have the chance to facilitate a lesson allowing the kids to lead their peers and share their faith. Also, many life groups plan additional outside activities to participate in such as mission projects, social events, and attending SCREAM retreat weekend together.
God’s Girls is designed for mother/mentor and daughter to explore how to apply Scripture to their everyday and growing world as they explore what it means to be a daughter of the King. Fishers of Men is designed for father/mentor and son to explore Scripture and discuss the adventure of drawing courage and strength from their faith in the power and presence of Jesus Christ.
Please note: A parent information meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 22, in the MB Kid’s offices at 6:30pm to learn more about our parent/child life groups for 4th and 5th graders.
We ask that you begin praying about this opportunity for you and your child, and feel free to contact Becky Tolbert for more information or to sign up. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on August 22.
