K180 – London Mission Trip

K180 Evangelism Training & Street Ministry – London, England

Student & Adult Trip

Age Requirements: 16 with partner; 18 +

TRIP COST: $3000 in total depending on airfare cost. $1,500 for ground cost.

Is there any more important task than sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Indeed, it is deeper than simply being a ‘task’. It is a commission, a privilege, and a responsibility. Every believer is an ambassador for Christ, a witness to Him, bearing this life transforming message to a lost and dying world. We have the most amazing news and yet we often struggle to share it. Perhaps this is not a surprise. We are in a spiritual battle and the enemy will do all that he can to silence us. But God is stronger, and His Gospel is powerful. By the power of the Holy Spirit and serving and being trained by K180 Evangelism Training and Street Ministry we will spend our time praying, training, and sharing throughout the city of London.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING? 

• Training sessions in the morning (anything from a Testimony workshop to teaching on Gospel conversations on the streets to a Tough Questions workshop).
• An organized time of street outreach each day. Over the course of the mission trip, we include some different contexts for this (different parts of London).
• We will also have plenty of sightseeing time to see London. Some of this will be as we are ‘out and about’ visiting different places for ministry, but some of this will be on the team’s day off which we build in (one a week).
• We hope that there will be an opportunity at a local church for one or two from the team to share their testimony on a Sunday morning.
• Tourist day – this can be flexible. If the team wants to do their own thing, this is certainly possible. However, we usually offer incoming teams a ‘walking tour’ option which takes in most of the main tourist places (Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, etc) which can be a nice thing.

LODGING & TRANSPORTATION

Medium-range hotel available for team.

Each team member will be issued a K180 ‘oyster’ travel card which can be used on all public transport (tubes and buses) around London. We plan for all our travel to be in this way during the mission trip.
