Our friendly group of greeters will welcome you as if you have always been part of our family. They will be happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have. We understand that this kind of attention can be overwhelming to some newcomers. If you’d prefer to slip in quietly, contact us ahead of time to let us know you’re coming, and we will be happy to provide you with helpful information and answer your questions before you get here.

Guest Parking

When you enter the Mt. Bethel East Cobb campus from Lower Roswell Road, you’ll find our main parking lot all the way to the left of the building. Our friendly parking ushers will be available to direct you to our Children’s area, modern service, or traditional service.

Next Gen - Sunday Ministries

We are so excited to announce we are returning for nursery care along with in-person service on Sunday mornings.

Children are welcome in the Sanctuary with parents. Also, our nursery with paid staff is available for children ages six weeks through age three (as of 9/1/2020) while parents are attending Sanctuary Worship Services

Family reservations are required for all attendees on a weekly basis. Make reservations here or via the Mt. Bethel app, and please indicate the total number attending.

In the Sanctuary, families can sit in any designated area, and clipboards will be available with activity sheets for preschoolers and elementary age. The balcony area will be a designated kid-friendly/family-friendly space with activities for children.

Check-in is required for Sunday morning nursery attendees and will be available through the Mt. Bethel app. Use your phone in the church parking lot to check your children into the Nursery. When you arrive at the nursery entrance, your child(ren)’s label will be available, and your security tag will be on your phone.

Ministry for Special Needs

This ministry is temporarily suspended. Please check back for updated information.
Currently we offer two spaces dedicated to our special needs ministry – a classroom and an adjoining sensory room. In the classroom, we offer worship music, Bible based messages, and an activity/craft. Our sensory room allows anyone the ability to regroup when needed. At this time, we offer a self contained classroom and a inclusive setting paired with a buddy. At Mt. Bethel our hope is for every child to feel safe and loved while having fun and learning about the love of Christ. We want the whole family to grow with us and call Mt. Bethel their church home.

Six-Weeks – Three Years

9am and 11:15am | D Hall
The Mt. Bethel Nursery provides a Christ-centered, loving environment for children ages six weeks through three years old. Children that turn two or three before September 1, 2020, can attend 2’sTown on Sunday mornings, an interactive Bible lesson with story, video, craft, and activities. If you are new to Mt. Bethel and would like to see the nursery on Sunday mornings, we offer informal tours during worship services. Email Deon Willis to learn more about us, or call 770.971.2588. Nursing room available in D10 on Sunday mornings.

Wellness Policy
In order to protect the health of the children in our care, we ask that children be kept at home with any of the following conditions: vomiting, fever, diarrhea, deep bronchial cough, or any other contagious illnesses. Any child should be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to the Children’s Ministry.

New drop-off procedure:

  • Using the Nursery entrance under the awning, check-in will be to your immediate right.
  • A Nursery staff member will greet there for check-in.
  • Temperature checks will be taken for each child per day at drop-off.
  • Our staff will escort your child to the room from there.
  • Parents are not permitted to walk halls or take their child directly to their classroom.
  • Pick-up will be at the same designated drop-off area. Staff will bring your child to you.

Outside items will be limited:

  • Everything must be labeled; we encourage you to write child’s name on diapers too.
  • No outside toys, etc. will be allowed in with your child.

Safety Precautions:

  • If a child, staff member, or any of their household family members develops symptoms and/or tests positive for COVID-19, please inform us immediately. In this case, he or she may only return after a 14-day quarantine or when a negative COVID-19 test is presented (this will be determined case-by-case).
  • Masks are to be worn at pick-up, drop-off, feeding, and diapering.
  • Gloves are worn while diapering and feeding and changed between each child.
  • Staff is practicing social distancing while providing care from the other adults/staff.
  • Deep cleaning and sanitizing of all toys regularly.
  • Frequent sanitation of high touch areas, including pens, light switches, door handles, etc.
Three Years – Young Fives

11:15am | Upper C Hall
Station34 is where the seeds are planted for a lifetime of faith formation. If you have a pre-schooler age 3-5 (not yet in Kindergarten), we invite them to join the fun on Sunday mornings! Each station is lead by a caring and dedicated leader who creates a loving and Christ centered environment for our friends. The Bible will come alive through interactive worship, large group Bible stories, and small group time.

Kindergarten – Fifth Grade

11am | Fellowship Hall
Welcome to KidCity, where kids are taught to love Jesus, live like Jesus, and shine His light to others like a “city set on a hill.” In large group worship, kids will experience live music, games, and a Bible message delivered by seasoned leaders. Activities by grade will be led by caring adults and leaders where kids will discuss the Bible lesson and apply biblical principles to their life with activities and crafts. Everyone loves KidCity!

High School Bible study and fun. We are currently in the process of developing something similar for High School girls.

Confirmation is Mt. Bethel’s program designed to empower students and their families to connect in their relationships with God in new and growing ways. Confirmation is not a grade-bound experience, which means that students in grades 7-12 and at least one parent are encouraged to enroll whenever he or she is spiritually ready. Confirmation consists of 12 lessons, which are taught in a combination of large group gatherings, small group gatherings, and a retreat (when possible based on COVID regulations). Confirmation has concluded for 2020 and will be offered again in fall 2021. Registration will begin in summer 2021.
