Alpha

Have you ever wondered if there’s more to life than what you are experiencing now, struggled with what you believe, or had a hard time articulating what you believe? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we invite you to join one of Mt. Bethel’s Alpha groups.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, run over 11 weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome. Alpha meets in coffee houses, churches, homes, and just about anywhere; no two Alphas usually look the same, but they generally have three key things in common: food, a talk, and good conversation.

Alpha begins a conversation around the big issues of faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? and How can I have faith? Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. As a part of the class, there is a weekend retreat with a focus on the Holy Spirit.
