Why Attend DNOW

There are several elements to a DNOW (Disciple Now) weekend: Worship, Bible Study, Missions, and Recreation. This atmosphere is created to take students to a deeper level in their relationship with Christ, connect them with local mission opportunities, and help them enjoy the fellowship of other believers.

You will have FUN!

You will serve others, and be served.

You will encounter Jesus.

Weekend Needs
We need your help to make DNOW a success! You can help us before, during, and after this action-packed weekend. Please contact edwin.turnipseed@mtbethel.org to purchase supplies, help set up, and transition between sessions.

Host Homes

Host a Student Group For DNOW

We need Host Homes to provide hospitality for our DNOW groups and College Leaders. When you open your home to students and their leaders, you will be part of the exciting faith formation and life transformation of DNOW. College Leaders will chaperone the students and lead group activities and conversations in your home, although most of the weekend will be at Mt. Bethel. To get an idea of what being a Host Home is like for the hosts, watch Sara Seiter as she shares her family’s experience.

Student Testimonials

“For me, DNOW helped me make a LOT of new friends and made me feel comfortable in church and with the people around me. It gave me a new view of the world and everything around me and was one of the most fun and eventful weekends of my life. I got to meet new people and hang out with my friends but most importantly built a greater relationship with god. It was a really eye-opening and amazing weekend and I am so extremely excited for this year’s DNOW!”

– Karlie Mabry

“I like how we get to learn about God while having fun at the same time and hanging out with my friend and making new friends.”

– William Allison

“I had a great experience with DNOW. It was a great time to spend time with friends, to do fun things, to serve my community, and to do all this while learning about and growing closer to God. I loved how I got to get to know new people, dress up for the dress-up days, and goof off with my friends. Overall, it was a great experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good time!”

– Abby McHenry
