Rev. Jon Ponders

Jon is a native of North Georgia. He graduated from Kennesaw State University with a double degree of Marketing and Professional Sales and is currently working on his Master of Divinity at Asbury Seminary. His plan while working on his under-graduate degree was to be a wealthy businessman. Through volunteering with Young Life he was made aware that God had different plans for his life.

Jon has spent the last 13 years of his life in full time ministry. The last six years were at Calhoun First United Methodist in Calhoun Georgia where he served as Minister of Education and Program.

Jon is blessed to be married to Staci. They have three daughters. Emily is in college, Abby Grace is in elementary school & Lily is a preschooler.
