Mt. Bethel Angels Make Christmas Wishes Come True

Stacy JohnFor over 20 years, Mt. Bethel has provided Christmas gifts for children in foster care and adults receiving county services through the Angel Tree mission. As the largest contributor for Cobb County DFCS for this program, our congregation is a vital part of assisting foster families at Christmas. This year, the generosity of Mt. Bethel exceeded 1500 gifts for 230 children in foster care and 150 adults with special needs, for a total value of $32,500. This year also marked the first year that Mt. Bethel has provided a copy of the Christmas Story as told by Luke in the Bible for each foster child we provided gifts for.

Angel Tree is a massive undertaking, and it works because of the commitment of many volunteers and the entire Mt. Bethel community. Thank you for being a part of this special ministry.
