Purpose:
Transforming lives to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Service Opportunities:
- Thursday night program (5:15pm – 7:30pm) – Volunteers are needed to work with the children and to serve dinner.
- Sunday mornings: Teachers, greeters, and ushers needed.
- Coaches for Recreation Department
Summer Service Opportunities:
- Thursday night program (5:15pm – 7:30pm) – Volunteers are needed to work with the children and to serve dinner. Thursday night activities will go through the summer; however, we will take off June 9th, July 7th, August 4th and 11th.
- Vacation Bible School, July 25th – 28th (6:00pm – 8:30pm) – Adult and teen helpers needed to work with the children each night.
- Vacation Bible School, July 25th – 28th (5:30pm – 7:00pm) – Groups are needed to provide dinner for approximately 125 each night. This includes purchasing the food, setting up, serving and cleaning up.
- Osborne High School Band Camp, August 1st – 5th – Groups needed to provide the evening meal for approximately 120 people. This includes purchasing the food, setting up, serving and cleaning up.
St. Philip is currently raising money to build at basketball court. Our goal is $3,000. Contributions of all sizes are greatly appreciated! Make checks payable to Mt. Bethel UMC with St Philip Basketball court on the ‘FOR’ line.
