Support
Whether you’re facing a challenge, needing spiritual direction, or embarking on a new opportunity, support can mean the difference between surviving and thriving. Mt. Bethel’s programs are available to encourage you to find and follow Jesus through the transitions, challenges, and sorrows of life.
Baptism
We baptize both children and adults almost every Sunday in our services. For infant/children baptisms, contact Debi Wyatt for more information or to schedule a date. Please note that at least one parent of the child must be a member of Mt. Bethel.
For adult baptisms, contact Krista Downing.
Weddings
Due to the number of wedding requests that we receive, the bride and/or groom needs to be a Mt. Bethel member to use our facilities for their wedding
You can choose to get married in either our Chapel or our Sanctuary. The Chapel will hold about 100 people, while the Sanctuary will hold many more. Mt. Bethel holds extra worship services during the major holidays each year; therefore, we cannot schedule weddings around those times.
All couples are required to attend counseling sessions with one of our ministers.
If you have any other questions, please contact Debi Wyatt.
Funerals
If you have a specific question about an upcoming funeral, you are encouraged to call our front desk at 770-971-2880.
Counseling Center
The Mt. Bethel Shepherd Counseling Center recognizes that people both inside and outside the church sometimes need the assistance of a mental health professional. We believe that the mission of the church goes beyond worship and teaching.
The Shepherd Center provides a Christian setting to meet the psychological needs of the greater community. Our therapists are in general practice offering the customary range of psychological services, including individual adult psychotherapy, individual child psychotherapy, assessment and evaluation, marital therapy, family therapy, group psychotherapy and structured psycho-educational groups.
For more information, please call the Shepherd Counseling Center at 770-579-1799.
