Camp 56 is for rising 5th and 6th graders.
What we will do: The kids will be meeting in the same small group each day where we want them to establish good relationships with the other children and the adults in the group. There will be time for study and reflection, relationship building time, outdoor activities (games, scavenger hunts, etc.), swimming, and missions activities. We will end the week with a worship service that the kids will put together.
Each day will also include swimming, so each child must bring a swimsuit (appropriate 1-piece for girls), towel, and a bag to hold clothes. We will end with swimming, so if you need to pick up your child early because of swim team commitments or other things, you can do so at 3:30.
Transportation: You will need to drop off your child before going to the main campus for regular VBS and picking them up after you pick up at the main campus. Please talk to other parents and start carpools!
What to bring: Bible, notebook and pen/pencil, bag with extra clothes, swimsuit, and towel. Wear tennis shoes during the camp; flip flops, if desired, can be used during swim time. Please do not bring any valuables with you, and label phones so that they can be gathered at the beginning and returned at the end of camp.
Lunch: Lunch will be served each day. Please list any allergies on the registration form. If we cannot provide the appropriate foods, then your child will need to bring a lunch.
