“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:14.
On Monday, January 19, at 9am, the Mt. Bethel Spring/Summer Children’s Consignment Sale will begin registering consignors. How does a consignor “clothe themselves with love?” Consignors are a vital part of what makes this mission so successful. It would be much easier to donate items by dropping them off at a charity organization, or by using local social media, or by going to one of the other sales that gives a higher percentage of the profit. Yet in love, our consignors take the time to enter the items, neatly put the tags on each item, and bring them to the church’s Fellowship Hall. Many of the consignors extend their love to the mission by graciously agreeing to donate the items that do not sell. By donating the items, the love is spread through this mission to many families in the metro area and several worldwide missions. Finally, the love is spread through this mission with the money raised that goes to financially support a variety of local and global missions. Want to join and support the mission to “clothe yourself with love?” Search your children’s closets to see what you can consign to help spread the love!
